Greetings from beautiful Queenstown, where we
are basking in glorious spring sunshine.
Just over a year ago we
purchased the luxury transport operation, Limousine Services
Queenstown (LSQ). Our priority has been, and will
continue to be, the delivery of a premium limousine
service.
As we develop
our services and the company further, we aim to keep you informed
with our occasional newsletter. We hope you enjoy our first
issue.
The management team...
Our first
newsletter is a great opportunity to tell you a little more about
who we are and what we do.
Jill Moody,
director and financial controller, works from her home office
managing the money and the finer points of the business. Jill has
twenty years` tourism experience.
Greg Marett
divides his time between the road and the office, focusing on
day-to-day operations. He formerly specialised in adventure tourism
and worked as a Tour Director.
Damian McDonald
runs the office and `behind the scenes` operations. He has a
background in international hospitality
and adventure tourism.
Dale Marett
fills the role of `best supporting actress`, assisting Damian and
Greg. She`s a
frontline `master` with eleven years on her tourism clock.
Director, Ross
Marett, provides the wise answers to the difficult questions. Just
what you`d
expect from someone with more than thirty years` tourism experience in
Queenstown.

Our driver guides...
Our driver
guides are our real strength. At LSQ we`re very lucky to have a
team with unparalled experience; all true local ambassadors with a
wealth of knowledge and experiences. Most have run their own
businesses in the past and now enjoy showcasing the region to
visitors.
We`ll introduce you to all
of these affable characters in coming issues.
Our fleet...
Our current fleet
features Mercedes S class sedans, a Mercedes ML 4WD, a Mercedes MB
minivan, Ford Transit LWB minivans, and Toyota Coasters. Our fleet
replacement programme is on track with the arrival of this stunning
late model Mercedes S 430L.
Our services...
We cater for the
modern discerning traveller who appreciates the finer details. From
airport transfers to privately guided tours of the entire South
Island, we provide an array of luxury transportation services.
Flexible full
day tours can include popular destinations like Mt Cook, Milford
Sound or Doubtful Sound. Sightseeing in and around Queenstown is
tailored to individual interests.
We combine local
knowledge with stunning vistas and a mix of vineyards, artists in
their galleries, beautiful Arrowtown, the Kawarau Bungy Bridge,
Glenorchy, the Kingston flyer, local architecture - the list is
endless. Culinary options range from award winning lunch venues to
scrumptious picnic hampers.
Queenstown...
Queenstown has
enjoyed an incredible winter season with plenty of snow and superb
conditions. Days are becoming longer and warmer though. Spring in
Queenstown brings beautiful sunny days, clear blue skies, no crowds
and plenty to see and do.
This is a
fantastic time to experience the region with a full day scenic tour.

Historian: We can add that extra touch by
including the services of an historian, providing in-depth insights
into places such as Arrowtown.
Wine
guides: We can provide a locally based viticultural consultant to
host visits to a variety of vineyards and explain the
intricacies of our local harvest and viticultural
techniques.
The Farm
Visit: Visit a local farmer
working 1200 acres - home to 3600 sheep, 120 Red Deer and 200 acres
of grain. Enjoy a hosted tour, feel the differences in the grades of
wool and, by arrangement, watch a demonstration of dogs working the
sheep.

Stage
three is well underway in a four stage major upgrade at Queenstown
airport; the project is on track for completion in March
`07.
The new look arrivals and departures halls are now both operating
and the end product is contemporary and functional.
We have
maintained our commitment to lease a large number of preferential
parking spaces from Queenstown Airport Corporation. These spaces are
conveniently located between the arrival and departure halls
(directly opposite the taxis in plan 2).
For those in
private jets, we continue to work closely with the ground handlers
to perform airside pick ups and drop offs. The Aviation Security
Service has completed checks and issued all drivers with Airport
Identity Cards.

 Greg, Jo and Liam (19
months) are proud to announce the arrival of Jessica Chloe Marett. Gorgeous wee Jess
is settling in well, and we are all beaming from head to toe!!
