LSQ POLICIES FOR PAYMENT, CANCELLATION AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES


Payment Policy

  • Pre-payment is required 30 days prior to service.  If the service is booked less than 30 days ahead, payment will be required within 48 hours.  If the service is booked less than 48 hours ahead, payment will be required immediately when invoiced.

  • For multi-day bookings, a non-refundable deposit of 25% may be required before the booking is confirmed.

  • If payment is not received by the due date, LSQ may, at their discretion, cancel the booking and/or decline future bookings.

  • Payment may be made by secure link using Visa, Mastercard or American Express or online by direct credit into our NZ bank account. Surcharges may apply for credit card payments.

Cancellation Policy

This cancellation policy applies to all pre-booked services contracted with LSQ, except by prior arrangement.

Main policy

  • Cancellations of pre-booked services notified 7 days or more prior to commencement of the service, will not incur a charge (full refund will be given if paid).

  • Cancellations of services within 2 to 6 days of commencement of the service, will be charged at 50% of the quoted price (or 50% refund if paid).

  • Cancellations of services within 48 hours of the booked pick-up time, or failure to arrive, will be charged at 100% of the quoted price (no refund).

Multi-day bookings or multiple vehicles valued at over $5000

Applies to bookings for 4 or more days or 4 or more vehicles.

  • Cancellations of pre-booked services notified 30 days or more prior to commencement of the service, will not incur a charge (full refund will be given if paid).

  • Cancellations of services within 15 to 30 days of commencement of the service, will be charged at 25% of the quoted price (or 25% refund if paid).

  • Cancellations of services within 6 to 14 days of commencement of the service, will be charged at 50% of the quoted price (or 50% refund if paid).

  • Cancellations of services within 5 days of the booked pick-up time, or failure to arrive, will be charged at 100% of the quoted price (no refund).

Bookings changed within 24 hours of the booked time may be charged as a late cancellation.

LSQ will endeavour to accommodate amendments to dates and times of pre-booked services, but this may be limited by availability.

LSQ will use its discretion in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as illness and flight disruptions.

Diverted or disrupted flights: LSQ tracks flight arrivals and will try to modify plans where possible if flights are disrupted, diverted or cancelled.  However, sometimes these disruptions occur at the last minute and LSQ has already incurred cost by allocating a driver and vehicle (in attendance at the airport or at the pick-up location or committed on the way).  If flights are disrupted, diverted or cancelled at short notice and LSQ has already incurred costs due to committed resources (the driver has already collected the vehicle and is en-route or attending), then we will make a full charge as a late cancellation, and will offer to return for an additional charge when the flight is rescheduled. 

Late clients: If clients are late for the arranged pick up time (excluding flight disruptions), a 15 minute grace period will be allowed, then there may be additional charges.  After 30 minutes late, the driver may stand down.  LSQ will endeavour to contact the client or agent in these circumstances.

Additional Charges

  • Child restraint seats are available at $30 per seat per day. Booster seats are $15 per seat per day.

  • Additional charges will be added for waiting beyond agreed times or for additional services.  Unarranged waiting time (more than 15 minutes) will be charged additionally at the following rates:  Sedan or SUV $200 per hour, minivan/van $275 per hour, executive van $400 per hour.

  • Additional charges may be added if there is contamination or damage to the vehicle. A refundable deposit of up to $500 may be required for music events, late night services, other events or at LSQ’s discretion.

  • Surcharges may apply for early morning or late evening trips.

  • Surcharges will apply for public holidays and Christmas/New Year peak season.

  • Prices may change at LSQ’s discretion.
