Half Day Wine Tour (up to 5 hours)

Enjoy a flexible half-day wine experience with your own private driver-guide. Visit three cellar doors in the Gibbston Valley, sampling award-winning Pinot Noir and aromatic whites at boutique vineyards such as Kinross, Chard Farm and Mt Rosa. A delicious shared platter lunch is included at one of the wineries, making this the perfect way to savour Central Otago wines while leaving time for other Queenstown activities.

Explore the best of Central Otago wine regions, including Gibbston Valley, Bannockburn and Cromwell, with tastings at renowned vineyards such as Mt Difficulty, Mt Rosa, Chard Farm and boutique family-run cellar doors.

Our professional driver-guides and luxury fleet (1–16 passengers) offer a safe, relaxed way to enjoy your winery itinerary without worrying about transport. This flexible service is ideal if you’d like to set your own schedule while still travelling with a knowledgeable local driver. Hourly private charter rates are available on request.

  • Our half-day wine tours run for up to 5 hours and include visits to three cellar doors in the Gibbston Valley, along with a shared platter lunch.

  • A full-day tour runs for up to 8 hours. It includes tastings in Central Otago wine regions such as Gibbston Valley, Bannockburn and Cromwell, plus a vineyard lunch.

  • Yes. A vineyard lunch is always part of our tours. For half-day tours, a shared platter is included at one of the wineries. For full-day tours, you can either have the lunch cost included in your booking or request a specific winery where we’ll make the reservation for you to pay directly on the day. Any additional drinks at lunch are paid directly at the venue.

  • Yes. Every itinerary is tailored to your preferences. We often recommend favourites such as Mt Difficulty, Chard Farm, Kinross and Mt Rosa, but we’re happy to build the day around your preferred wineries.

  • Yes. All wine tours include a private driver-guide with a luxury vehicle, providing hotel pick-up and drop-off in Queenstown.

  • Absolutely. Non-drinkers can enjoy the scenery, vineyard lunches and historic sites along the way. Our private tours are flexible and can be tailored to mixed groups.

  • Yes. On request, we can include short stops in Arrowtown, Wanaka or scenic photo locations to make your private wine tour even more memorable.
